Frequently asked questions
Which HVAC interfaces do you work with?
I have worked with CoolMaster / CoolAutomation gateways and Intesis interfaces to bring air-conditioning into KNX and other control systems, and I review BACnet integration points with the HVAC contractor.
Can you fix HVAC that doesn't respond to the automation system?
I diagnose the interface, addressing and logic between the automation system and the HVAC equipment. Mechanical faults stay with the HVAC contractor.
Do you design the HVAC system itself?
No. Mechanical design belongs to the MEP engineer. I coordinate the control and integration layer.
