Frequently asked questions
Who provides the fixture information?
The lighting designer or supplier provides the finalised luminaire specifications. I prepare, coordinate and review the schedule against the control and dimming design — I don't invent fixture specifications.
Who's responsible for the electrical circuit design?
The electrical/MEP engineer is responsible for circuit design and protection. I coordinate control circuits, dimming compatibility, channel allocation and DALI addressing.
Can you review a schedule someone else prepared?
Yes, reviewing an existing lighting load schedule against the control design is part of this service.
